West Hill is an east end neighbourhood seeped in history. Its earliest settlers were Irish immigrants from the County of Cork, who settled in the Morningside and Lawrence Avenue area, which was fleetingly known as “Corktown.” The present day neighbourhood was developed largely between the 1920s and 1940s, when the erection of the West Hill Public School attracted families to the area.

The Guildwood GO Station is only ten minutes away by car, or hop on to the 54 Lawrence East for a few stops.
